Disoriented
I designed this book during my semester abroad in Venice, Italy. It is about the irony of the directional signs in Venice.
Instead of helping me navigate the maze-like streets, they made it more difficult. Disoriented explains my thoughts as I try
to navigate Venice. I used photography, layout, and typography to make this book as disorienting as the streets of Venice.
Each page has a different photo of a Venetian directional sign accompanied by my internal dialogue about that specific sign.
The book can be read in multiple directions and can start from any page to emphasize the theme of disorientation.
