Brand Mission
Boston University Ary Galleries are a place where all are welcome to experience the unity that art and culture
brings to society. Our galleries are easily accessible by all modes of transportation in the city and are close
enough to each other to walk between. These spaces offer temporary exhibitions that focus on contemporary
international, national, and regional art developments. We are proud to also host student work towards the end
of eachacademic year, allowing the students to interact with the campus and greater Boston public through
their work. The galleries are open concept with vaulted ceilings and large street windows, letting them adapt
to any exhibition. This also provides lots of natural light and allows pedestrians to view the art on display inside.
Boston Univeristy Art Galleries are enthusiastic about providing culturally inclusive, contemporary art
galleries where visitors are encouraged to interpret the art from their unique perspective.
Brand Key Terms
Open - not enclosed, easy to move around, can see everything when in the room
Contemporary - recent or new themes/topics and art work presented
Inclusive - open to all, welcomes everyone into the space
Bright - there is lots of light, specifically natural light
